Etched Marble Vanity Restored
Problem
Austin, TX homeowners were not pleased with the appearance of the marble vanity in their master bathroom. The marble had become etched with time and use due to cosmetic spills and improper cleaning products. Notice the BEFORE images, how the marble has a dull, cloudy-looking appearance.
Solution
We honed away the damage, and then gave the marble a beautiful, reflective polished finish. Our final step was to apply a clear impregnating sealer to inhibit staining and protect the stone. Notice the dramatic difference in the AFTER images. As long as the homeowners use a recommended, stone-safe cleaning product and use caution with cosmetic products, this marble vanity will look elegant for several years.
